Yad Vashem Recognized by Spanish Royal Family
Israel’s Holocaust Museum, Yad Vashem, has received the Prince of Asturias Award for Concord. This award is given out yearly by the Spanish royal family. German Chancellor Angela Merkel was among those who endorsed Yad Vashem’s candidacy for the prize, calling Yad Vashem “a place for hope.”
