Z-World has an interesting post on the British UCU reviving its academic boycott of Israel. Strangely, the UCU is claiming it is not boycotting Israel, just supporting the Palestinians.

From the front lines of the anti-boycott effort… the vote was for a boycott if a political litmus test was not passed and the UCU has spun it as a pro-oppressed people’s issue. It is a litigious offense in the UK to do so and a legal action fund is being formed by SPME at http://www.spme.net/donation.html
