A look at the above program reveals that this was a “Qumran-Essene” love-fest, from which every single scholar who opposes the old theory seems to have systematically excluded. What about Magen and Peleg, the Donceels, Cansdale, Zangenberg, Galor, Bar Nathan, Klinghart, Elior, Golb, Mason, and others whose names easily come to mind? Are these scholars not allowed to attend DSS conferences anymore? For more on the Dorot Foundation’s involvement in setting this type of agenda, see http://www.nowpublic.com/culture/charity-fund-involved-dead-sea-scrolls-conflict.
