Website about the Talmud Launched

COJS, Targum Shlishi, the Jesselson family and Yeshiva University have just launched a new website called Printing the Talmud which uses contemporary technology to preserve and make widely accessible rare and ancient versions of the Talmud. The website is based on the 2005 exhibition Printing the Talmud: From Bomberg to Schottenstein and the extensive accompanying catalogue.

You can zoom in on rare ancient manuscripts, see videos of Talmud study, and read essays about the development of the printed Talmud from the invention of printing until today.
